Shedrack Nnajiaku popularly known as SheddyofLagos has always dreamed of becoming a top model and fashion icon. He is now gaining grounds after tireless attempt to make a name for himself in the fashion industry.
Shedrack hails from Umuezeyin kindred, Ihitenansa of Orlu LGA, Imo state. He was born in Lagos state Nigeria and is basically based there hence the nickname SheddyofLagos. Shedrack was born on the 27th of December 1999, he graduated from the Federal University of Technology Owerri located in Imo state.
His earliest success came right after meeting Toyin Lawani, the founder of the Tiannah Place Empire where he leanrt more about fashion and styling. This eventually led him to develop a desire to pursue his dream and build a global brand.
“I’ve always had a passion for styles and Afrocentric fashions, I’m fashion forward and I love to think ahead and I love creativity as well,” said SheddyofLagos.
“It’s actually something I love doing right from childhood, and Toyin Lawani of Tiannah Place Empire helped me to achieve my yet-to-be-full potential. She helped me evolve and work on my craft. She’s one person I look up to in the industry and I’m glad to be working with her not just as her personal assistant but also as a stylist and a designer in view.
“Did you know I also helped in styling some of the celebs from the AMVCA, The Brotherhood Ojuju balls, and others via Tiannah Place Empire. Working with her has made a lot of ways for me. From knowing and working with and for well-respected and loved celebs and government officials and some of these celebs are following me on my Instagram page which is @Sheddyoflagos,” SheddyofLagos added.
After years spent making progress as a young stylist, SheddyofLagos decided to realign his goals and mindset, and he decided to focus on building a unique brand, working with different brands and models.
“Well, I won’t lie, yes at some point I thought of quitting not because it’s stressful but because it requires enough funds but when you look at it I am glad I pulled through, he said.
“I am still looking forward to working with several top-ranking clients, I am going to be giving it my all this year and I pray God almighty gives me the grace to do that,” he said.
The Lagos-based stylist and media influencer also reveals that styling top Nigerian biggest stars including Davido, Burna boy, and Tiwa Savage, will be a dream come true.
SheddyofLagos who is on the journey of making a name for himself in the fashion industry said styling these stars will be a dream come true and give his career a big push.
“I’ve styled celebrities like Falz, Broda Shaggi, Ifuennada, Tobi Bakre, Basketmouth, Omawunmi, Tonitones, Mercy Aigbe, Dorathy Bachor, Phyna and so many others under the Tiannah Place Empire as a stylist under Toyin Lawani. I will also be working with the crew of the new black panther. But I wish to style Davido, Burna boy, and Tiwa Savage,” he said.
