Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., known professionally as Shatta Wale, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter and actor. He won Artiste of the Year at the 2014 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for his best known single “Dancehall King“, and has appeared films such as Never Say Never, The trial of Shatta Wale, and Shattered Lives.
Ghanian Dancehall king featured SM Militant Captan on a new song, titled “Kimberly“.
In the song, Shatta Wale rolls on the words, “my girl-Kimberly, my ride or die girl“–as he talks about what his girl Kimberly does not like and like. As usual, it’s one Shatta Wale’s many songs he releases. The song which features Captan is a head bopping, minimalist pigeonholed tune.
