The video which was directed by the ever famous Clarence Peters exemplifies the dynamic collaboration between the two vocal power houses. This tune is the first official effort from Seyi this month, it follows after previous tracks like “Murda,” “Tuale” and “Gimme Love(Rmx)”.
“Pempe” is an infectious and vibrant Afrobeats track mixed and mastered by the skilled producer, Kel P. This tune is an exuberant piece collectively delivered and perfected by both songstresses to the appreciating of their fans. Seyi Shay is not new to the music scene in any way – long before now, she was the lead singer of “From Above” band, a band that supported Beyoncé while she was on her “I AM” tour in the UK. She also released a self titled album after that period.
“Pempe” is taken from Seyi Shay’s forthcoming EP dubbed Big Girl. The title of this song is taken off the Nigerian street lingo meaning hot lady. With most of the lyrics being rendered in Nigerian Pidgin English, the duo seeks to properly depict the female experience – Seyi dealing with a cheating and dishonest lover, and Yemi expressing the uncomfortable situation in dealing with unwanted attention and interests. The tune carries great potentials and is good enough to sit in the chair of significant relevance, just as other tracks making waves now.

All sales are final. We do not accept fashion related returns or exchanges as many of our items are made on demand. We will however happily replace damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 4 weeks after the product is received. All orders are shipped within 5-7 business days + (Transit time dependent upon shipping service chosen) Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
International shipping recipients WILL be required to pay duties/taxes by their nation's customs in order to obtain possession of their shipment. This charge is determined by the recipient country's government. Complex assumes no liability for these charges, nor are we able to predetermine or estimate these fees ahead of time. They are calculated by customs upon arrival of the package. Complex cannot guarantee an arrival or delivery date, as the customs department can delay release of any package for any reason. It is recommended that you plan for at least 7 business days additional time to receive your shipment. This 7 business day buffer is not a guarantee of time-frame for the release of packages. These delays will vary depending on the nation of delivery, customs department policies and procedures in dealing with the type of product ordered.

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown your shipping options (if applicable) and what the cost of shipping will be for each option.
For orders shipping to any address in the United States, standard shipping which has a business day transit time. Both of these transit times are from when the order leaves our production facility which can take up to business days.
For international orders we currently only offer standard shipping. Transit time is 10-14 business days for Canada and rest of the world.
