Osayaba Andrew Ize-Iyamu, popularly known as Santi, has just publicly announced that his new forthcoming album is completed and ready to be released. Santi is not just a singer but also a rapper and he is one of those faces recognized as alté music pioneers. Alté is presumably a contemporary alternative music genre and cultural movement in Nigeria which kick started as a result of the creative efforts made by certain special and creative individuals.
Santi had recently taken to his Instagram account to make this announcement. His last attempt at an album was “Mandy in the Jungle” which was a ground shaking project released as at May, 2019. This album was the project that sealed the singer’s place in the industry and the alté scene to be precise.
This incoming album will feature Ghanaian-American singer Amaarae, Jamaican superstar Koffee, and Nigerian rapper Maison2500. This revelation has indeed excited the singer’s fans and they cautiously anticipate this incumbent release. His previous album project spoke volumes about the weight of quality Santi possesses as a performing and recording act. The date for the release is yet to be made public but there is high anticipation in the air.
