Dallas-based fast rising Nigerian Singer, Samzy, has featured Mavins Records signee, Rema, on his latest single “Red Dots” off his forthcoming debut EP Trendsetter, which is set to drop later this year. The musician delivers catchy verses while Rema performs his chant-like vocals on the hook. The trap-inflected song is an easy listen, fit for radio play.
In November 2019, the Edo State-born musician dropped his first official single titled ‘Chains’ which kickstarted his professional career.
Samzy is currently putting finishing touches to his new EP, Trendsetter. It is scheduled to drop later this year. ‘Red Dots’ which is the first single off the Trendsetter-EP features Nigerian Music sensation, Rema.
Last we heard from Rema, he released the banger “Beamer (Bad Boys)” and also featured on the track “4 AM” with Manny Norté and 6LACK. Sammy and Rema did accurate justice to the track and we expect subsequent alliances from the duo. The accompanying music video, which was shot on location in Dallas and LA, also features the two artists as they perform on top of a roof, and in a dimly-lit space. The video was directed by Patrick Ellis.
