Due to the latest revolve in the musical sphere, we’ve seen the alternative music scene take more dominance in mainstream conversations this year. Prettyboy D-O is one of the few artists pushing the boundaries to make a complete crossover. It’s Prettyboy D-O’s ability to be philosophical in nature yet craft-like in practice that will resonate with fans.
Prettyboy D-O is a singer and songwriter who blurs the lines between distinct hip-hop and the glorious pop sound. Close to the release date of the upcoming album, he drops his first single of 2020, ‘Odesi’ which could inexcusably be the lead single off his upcoming studio album. On this brand new tune, he features Tim Lyre. Odesi explicitly expresses the Pretty’s attitude towards his enemies and claims to be properly armoured and impenetrable. The two artists sonically delivered aesthetical verses and like a poignantly designed Rubik cube, they both complimented ‘Odesi’ perfectly.
It’s been a while since he’s released anything but in the heat of the moment, he comes through with DaRe-produced “Odeshi”, a gritty cut that reminds the opposition that he’s very much alive and still impenetrable.
