From Tiwa Savage to Flavour to Kenyan afro-pop band, ‘Sauti Sol’, patoranking’s “Three” album is jam-packed and expletively full of thrills. Patoranking had prior to this time unlocked several teasers in paving the way for his much anticipated album. The singer had created a sort of beaming excitement in the air.
“The boy who was in the Ghetto, the boy who came into this industry with Alubarika and the man I am today, man it’s been a journey. I thank God because I am only just starting. My third studio album THREE is out 28 Aug. Thank you guys for supporting me from day one, my team and everyone who worked tirelessly hard to bring this project to life. I love you all.” These were the exact words of the singer when he had released the tracklist for his album, he had to create this release clause also in a bid to foster his awareness campaign.
Patoranking’s new body of work, ‘Three’, which comes exactly one year and three months after his sophomore album, holds a lot of meanings to the reggae/dancehall superstar. However, in 2019, Patoranking dropped his second album “Wilmer” which featured the likes of Dadju, Davido, Busiswa from South Africa and other great talents. The sophomore album debuted at number five on the Billboard Reggae Chart and also happens to be a title track of his ode to his daughter, Wilmer. With ‘Three’, the ‘Alubarika’ crooner is set to burst speakers with some spanking new tunes. The album theme is Love Life and Happiness.
The new album houses 12 tracks and it was graced by the finesse touches of A-list producers such as Telz, Ctea, Dera and many others. The singer had earlier on released what we identify now as a hit titled “Abule” and it served as a frontliner as to what to anticipate from the long awaited album. “Three” is finally here!
