YBNL frontier and boss, Olamide Baddo has just recently shared his newly released colourful video for his track titled “Green Light.” The Clarence Peters directed visual is a a radio-ready afropop bop produced by 18-year-old prodigy, P.Priime and it showcases Olamide’s vocal side as he sonically creates an ambience with his singing. Olamide is widely considered as one of Nigeria’s most prominent voices of the streets based on his firmness and affinity with the cultural street sounds.
Speaking of his newly released album, “Carpe Diem,” he unleashes multilingual tracks which showcase his ability to rap and sing in English, Yoruba and Pidgin effortlessly. “The project is a reflection of my mind, and also the current sound brewing underground in Nigeria,” says Olamide as he comments about his just released song.
