Mr Raw Enlists Phyno In New Eastern Follow Up Tune Dubbed “Gentleman”

Okechukwu Edwards Ukeje, who goes by the stage name ‘Mr Raw’ is a rapper from Abia State, SouthEastern Nigeria. He is a pioneer of Igbo rap in the Nigerian music scene, a genre that now appeals to a broad, mainstream audience. Born and raised in Enugu, he gained prominence during the early 2000s rapping in the Igbo language and Pidgin English.

Raw has collaborated with numerous other musical artists including Flavour N’abania, Duncan Mighty, Phyno, Illbliss, 2Face, M-Josh, Hype MC, BosaLin and Slowdog. Formerly known as DAT NIGGA RAW, the rapper has just recently lyrically partnered with Phyno in a just released tune titled “Gentleman”. After sharing the snippet a few months ago, people have been demanding for the full version of the track. To grant people’s desires, Nigerian veteran Igbo rap sensation Mr Raw has finally released the song.

The Kezyklef production sees both rappers in an euphoric scenario flowing indigenously, what they know best. This project comes right after ” Solidarity”, the rapper’s previous work and it stands out as a viable build up in the rapper’s run this 2020. In the above listed banging tune, both rappers declared themselves not gentlemen as it’s usually misconceived by on lookers that they are but instead they wish to be seen as action guys, the ones who talk and do, enjoying their lives.
