Mavin Records’ rapper, Ladipoe reveals his new video for “Feeling” and it features the Burna Boy protégée, Buju. The video, which was directed by Kewa Oni and Seun Opabasi, is a true reflection of Ladi’s intentions, revealing the exuberant and sinister aura that Ladi’s youthfulness is laced with. Maintaining a number 1 spot on the Nigerian music chart for 4 weeks consecutively, “Feeling” is metaphorically on its way to Platinum.

This song has racked up over 18.5 million combined plays as well as being the first song to go No.1 in Nigeria on YouTube music without a video. Talking about his newly released video, Ladipoe said; “My favourite thing about the video is reflecting on how we were once those kids, so oblivious and happy to everything going on around us. I would always watch my favourite music videos and imagine what it would be like if it was me.”

Formally tagged as the “Leader Of The Revival”, Ladipoe is well on his way in confirming his statement that Nigerian rappers can also win. This underlined was coined from the rapper’s perception of a general misunderstanding of the masses towards his style and music. He admittedly coined this phrase to motivate himself while encouraging others to keep pushing and never stop dreaming. Having worked with the likes of Tems, Teni, Falz, Crayon, Simi, among others, Ladi is well on his way to changing the narrative, one release at a time.
