Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior born 18 December, 1994, better known as Kwesi Arthur, is a rapper and musician from Tema,Ghana. He was nominated for Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards. He is currently considered one of the best young artists in Ghana and Africa.
Kwesi Arthur began to pursue a career in music after listening to Drake’s debut album, Thank Me Later. As his star continues to rise and he gains esteem around the world and continent as one of the better rappers emerging from the African continent, Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur is aiming for nothing short of the heavens.
In 2015, he released the lead single “Grind Day” from his debut EP, Live from Nkrumah Krom (2017). The record was released under his independent outfit and supported by a social movement called GroundUp Chale. He later released the remix for “Grind Day”, featuring Sarkodie and Medikal.
GroundUp Chale pioneer, Kwesi Arthur has released a new single dubbed “Turn On The Lights”. The new record serves as his first official single for the new month.To gear up his upcoming work, Kwesi Arthur switch up his sound on his new record where he sings for the one he loves. This single is a follow up to his previous single ‘Revolution Sound”.
