Kid Cudi had earlier this week placed a high expectation on his fans by informing them about a new collaboration release with Eminen. Cudi and Eminem’s collab “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady” dropped at midnight on Friday, July 10. Although the title suggests equal billing between the two rappers, technically it’s a Kid Cudi song featuring Eminem, and it sounds like it. Cudi takes the first half of the song, before Eminem takes the back half, much of which he dedicates to coronavirus safety precaution.
Despite both being rap legends of the same generation, the new single is the first time they have ever come together on a track. Produced by Dot Da Genius, J Gramm and Eminem, the song kicks off with Cudder delivering a classic string of “yeps”. Going on to take the monumental collaboration as a chance to string together a length verse followed by a relaxed verse from Eminem.
Kid Cudi returned this year with the solo single “Leader of the Delinquents.” He then collaborated with Travis Scott on “THE SCOTTS.” Coming up, he’s teased an animated Kids See Ghosts show with Kanye West and he will be featured on the HBO series We Are Who We Are.
