Nigerian record producer, singer, and songwriter Udoma Peter Kelvin Amba widely known as Kel-P has joined the list of Nigerian producers dropping banging songs as he debuts a romantic tune called “One More Night”.
The new single off his forthcoming debut EP Bully Season Vol. 1, is a vital, mid-tempo tune with vivid sonics, and it captivates the listener with a current of uplifting energy.
According to the Grammy-winning producer, the song demonstrates the Nigerian multihyphenate’s ability to make massive hooks feel calm, relaxed, and, most importantly, emotional.
“How about we do this one more night,” Kel-P declares over warm synths and fluttering drums. “The inspiration came from a collaborative session involving Kdagreat the producer, myself, and a beautiful lady at the time. The hook “One More Night” came from a place where this same beautiful lady who was my main muse gave me so much pizazz that I just felt I needed to spend one more night with her,” Kel-P disclosed.
Kel-P’s slick, charismatic flows are underscored by the Nelly and Kelly Rowland “Dilemma” sample within the instrumental, which melds seamlessly with his powerful vocal performance.
“One More Night” launched with a fun-loving, stylish visual, presents a cohesive package from Kel-P that gives the song added replay value.
the song is laced with instrumentation in that creates a summery soundscape for Kel-P’s contagious melodies as he sings about a mysterious lady who has captured his heart overnight. He longs for another romance-filled night with his new love interest.
Its video was shot in Los Angeles and was directed by LA-based cinematographer Damian Belden.
