Marvin Winston Bailey (born 6 March 1994), known professionally as Fredo, is a British rapper, singer and songwriter from Queen’s Park, London. He had a UK number-one single in 2018, with fellow rapper Dave, called “Funky Friday”. Fredo is also a part of the British hip hop collective Harrow Road Boyz.
With his 2018 mixtape Tables Turn charting at number 5 and becoming the 4th biggest UK debut release that year, he followed this with his first number 1 single alongside Dave with Funky Friday, which exposed him to the African industry and afforded him an African fanbase. Last year he released his number 5 charting album Third Avenue and hit single Netflix & Chill, selling out his entire UK and Ireland tour, including 2 dates at London’s Kentish Town Forum and in the run-up to an interesting year, he shares another potential chart-topper titled Scorpion, just another step in his impressive run.
Fredo released the official visual for ‘Scorpion’ filmed by Suave.
2020 is proving to be a weird year in more ways than one, but Fredo is someone we can always count on. ‘Scorpion’ is a club burner with a stint in the tale, a potent return from one of the best voices in UK rap.
