• Tell us a little bit about who you are and about your debut single- “M.O.M.M.S”
My name is Godsfavour Ugochinyere Chidozie, from Anambra State and I’m 20 years of age. My hobbies are mostly singing, writing and drawing. I’m a fan of hip-hop, alternative and country music. I lead a basic life, owing that I’m still a student, in Obafemi Awolowo University, under the law discipline. I have been composing songs for as long as I can remember, singing in choirs at school and church, which shaped my voice to a great extent as it was the only thing close to voice training that I got.
As I grew older, I realized I was more comfortable singing my own words because it opened my ears to new melodies. Melodies from a few musical influences like Adele, Sia, Shaggy, Lorde and Lana Del Rey, whose sounds have formed a foundation in me. Nevertheless, it took more than the realization of my talent to venture into music as a career.

• Tell us about your upbringing and how it has made you the person you are today
Raised in a Christian family of 5, I have 2 siblings. Being the only girl could be testing and if there’s anything it has taught me it’s hard work and patience. Also, as i earlier mentioned, because our parents made us become members of the choir from early ages, it kinda pushed me closer to music.
• How has it influenced your type of music?
In some way it has, because I find myself pushing me to do better and be better as I was never taught to sit on my ass. There’s always room for more creativity and that helps me grow.
• After the release of N.B.U, what new projects should we be anticipating from Fave?
I’d decide not to spill for now but there’s definitely more to come. The people requested for this song, now it’s here but I have to be fully convinced that everyone who demanded for N.B.U has heard it, before we feast again. That will be my joy.
• What do you wish you could have done differently in your musical journey?
A lot but the long and short of it is, if I could turn the hands of time, I’d avoid some of the people I worked with. But since I can not, in the end, it’s a lesson.
We may not have heard so much from the young singer but with what we’ve heard, she proves to be a hallmark of peculiar talent, one we should look out for. With great consistency, she has what it takes to compete with the big guns of the industry as her style of music and delivery is very commendable.
