Efya officially releases the number which brings nostalgic and tingly feelings of summer and first crushes. Efya’s craft and creativity is simply applaudable as she seamlessly mixes and merges genres such as afrobeats, pop, kwaito and R&B in a single track. The song comes just in time for the warmer weather, as the singer revealed it was a year in the making but was well worth the wait, “But that’s how greatness happens – you take your time to get it right.”
Efya puts the appropriate icing on the cake by tapping African vocal power house and Queen, Tiwa Savage as the vocalist rightly dishes and metes out well meaning scales, worthy rhymes and rhythms coupled with blessed lyricism. This one right here is a dope collaboration featuring Nigerian superstar Tiwa Savage. “The One” is the follow up to her previous single, “Pricelezz” ft. Mugeez.The song was produced by BlaqJerzee.
The Afrobeat song blended with the pop sound and some element of Reggae vibe talks about how a man can be the only one that can light up a girl’s life. Efya says has this to say about her new release:
“I was recording at dawn trying to make this sound that was in my head and Blaq Jerzee, who’s a great producer, really translated it well. Tiwa had just woke up, she came to the room and was like, “what is this I hear?! Let’s do this song!” So that’s how it was.” It took a year to finish the track, the star reveals. “But that’s how greatness happens – you take your time to get it right.”
What is your return/refund policy?
All sales are final. We do not accept fashion related returns or exchanges as many of our items are made on demand. We will however happily replace damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 4 weeks after the product is received. All orders are shipped within 5-7 business days + (Transit time dependent upon shipping service chosen) Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
International shipping recipients WILL be required to pay duties/taxes by their nation's customs in order to obtain possession of their shipment. This charge is determined by the recipient country's government. Complex assumes no liability for these charges, nor are we able to predetermine or estimate these fees ahead of time. They are calculated by customs upon arrival of the package. Complex cannot guarantee an arrival or delivery date, as the customs department can delay release of any package for any reason. It is recommended that you plan for at least 7 business days additional time to receive your shipment. This 7 business day buffer is not a guarantee of time-frame for the release of packages. These delays will vary depending on the nation of delivery, customs department policies and procedures in dealing with the type of product ordered.

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown your shipping options (if applicable) and what the cost of shipping will be for each option.
For orders shipping to any address in the United States, standard shipping which has a business day transit time. Both of these transit times are from when the order leaves our production facility which can take up to business days.
For international orders we currently only offer standard shipping. Transit time is 10-14 business days for Canada and rest of the world.
