Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. In 2009, she released her first single “Rock Steady”, which was nominated for Best Urban/R&B Single at the 2009 Canadian Radio Music Awards. Moreover, she won the Best New Artist award at the 2008 Beat Music Awards.
Di’ja hasn’t really be found lately in the tabs, probably the married life isn’t as flexible as once thought. Right after her single release in April titled “Ayo”, the uber-talented singer has graced our speakers once again with her latest release titled “Yaraye Iye.” The song starts off with a surprising whistle accompanied by a groovy tune and then Di’ja came on but she didn’t come in her usual way, she came in with a triumphant indigenous entry. This song would most probably be more appreciated among her counterparts and the northern side of the nation.
The song which came along with a music art of a vintage picture of her in her toddling years. Ever since her feature in the Mavins hit song “Dorobucci”, the “Aphrodija” crooner has been an act to look out for.
