The Nigerian superstar recruits Summer Walker and London On Da Track to serve an insanely luxe aesthetic for the vibrant visuals for D & G. Davido has also pledged to support the Dolce & Gabbana and Humanitas Together for Coronavirus Research Fund with the music video in order to support relief efforts amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
The music video for “D&G” sees the trio completely decked out in the luxurious Italian brand, Dolce & Gabbana. The use of bold and vibrant colors throughout is intentional on the part of the talented visuals collaborator, DAPS. There’s no doubt that the visuals and the track play seamlessly off of each other to create a quality production.
Living up to the fiery, sensual, and fly spirit of the track, all acts are sporting complete Dolce & Gabbana looks throughout the visual as Davido courts a love interest. Meanwhile, Summer and London share the spotlight with uncontainable chemistry as they bring high fashion heat to the visual. The Vintage aura in the video is an undeniable one and DAPS has proven to be a creative maestro with the use of angles and colours.
In support of the “D&G” music video, and a testament to his love of the brand, Davido has donated to the Dolce & Gabbana and Humanitas University Together for Coronavirus Research project, aiming to clarify the responses of the immune system to Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, and lay the basis for developing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, contributing to the solution of a global problem.
