After a seeming hiatus, DMW boss Davido releases new audio statement titled “Fem.” In a post pointing towards the track, Davido talked about his new song FEM, saying, “To the people talking about you because they don’t understand your shine, they don’t understand your grace, they don’t understand why they can never be what you are or have what you have… we say #FEM!”
On this tune, Davido sharply pivoted into tender contemplation without warning in his notable departure from the sentiment we’ve come to expect from the hit maker. After three months of the singer’s absenteeism from social media, his sound resurfaces on our speakers and this time, he addresses his naysayers and those who have failed to level up and accept his shine.
Speculations flying around claims that the singer supposedly put a pause on his releases because he was working on his forthcoming album tagged, “A Better Time” which is obviously a follow up to the critically acclaimed ‘A Good Time’ album. ‘Fem’ will serve as the singer’s first official single for the year, also the first after the release of the recently released album, ‘A Good Time.’ The visualizer for this tune has been shot already and so should air any moment now.
