Cill is an alternative Singer based in Lagos, Nigeria, she loves telling stories through music. She enjoys making music in the genre of alternative rock, folk, soul and country music with splashes of ‘African-ness’. Her musical career started in 2016 when she quit her job at KPMG for music.
She is gifted with a passionate voice that will take you on a journey through story telling. She is also a songwriter credited for writing songs for a recently released Nolly wood movie, ‘Lara and the Beat’, her first single “Baby Girl”, was used recently as a soundtrack for a popular web series, ‘Rumour has It”.
Her musical influences are Majek Fashek, Laura Mvula, India Arie, Jenn Johnson, Christy Lane, Corinne Rae Bailey, Ruth B, Asa, Sholla Alison, Cold play, etc. She believes in the spreading quality music like wild fire knowing that someday good music will eventually chase bad music out of the industry.
“Tatarata”, her first release for a while, was produced by Johnny Drille and the fingerprints of the “Wait For You” singer are all over the bluesy dedication to unrequited love. Cill uses her voice, even more than lyrics, to translate the pointed hurt of being in a friend zone. She achieves this by being in tune with the soft-rocking beat without getting carried away. Her lyrics are not slapstick though: “E pain me when you talk say we’re just friends”, she notes painfully.
Cill expresses her heartfelt discontent in her present relationship as she would have loved for a more soulful connection with her crush. Cill’s vocal delivery is simply superb as she was able to take her listeners to an improvised climax leaving them head bopping and grooving to the rhythms of the song.
What is your return/refund policy?
All sales are final. We do not accept fashion related returns or exchanges as many of our items are made on demand. We will however happily replace damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 4 weeks after the product is received. If this applies to you please email us with your name, order number, and items for exchange/return via shop@lamboxtra.com.

Returns for product related issues must be initiated within 14 days of date that the item was received. Returned items will be replaced and sent back to you within 7-10 business days.

Complex media will not reimburse shipping charges, nor are we responsible for items returned prior to receiving authorization from an official agent.
All orders are shipped within 5-7 business days + (Transit time dependent upon shipping service chosen) Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
International shipping recipients WILL be required to pay duties/taxes by their nation's customs in order to obtain possession of their shipment. This charge is determined by the recipient country's government. Complex assumes no liability for these charges, nor are we able to predetermine or estimate these fees ahead of time. They are calculated by customs upon arrival of the package. Complex cannot guarantee an arrival or delivery date, as the customs department can delay release of any package for any reason. It is recommended that you plan for at least 7 business days additional time to receive your shipment. This 7 business day buffer is not a guarantee of time-frame for the release of packages. These delays will vary depending on the nation of delivery, customs department policies and procedures in dealing with the type of product ordered.

USPS
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown your shipping options (if applicable) and what the cost of shipping will be for each option.
For orders shipping to any address in the United States, standard shipping which has a business day transit time. Both of these transit times are from when the order leaves our production facility which can take up to business days.
For international orders we currently only offer standard shipping. Transit time is 10-14 business days for Canada and rest of the world.
