Nigerian singer, songwriter and graphic designer, Adekunle Gold releases a brand new song dubbed, AG Baby. He features Trinidadian singer and songwriter, Nailah Blackman. “AG Baby” serves as a follow-up to Adekunle’s buzzing record, “Something Different.” Both records are housed under his forthcoming project tagged, “Afro Pop Vol 1.”
Adekunle Kosoko developed interest in music while listening to songs by King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey. On 19 December 2014, he released “Sade”, a cover of One Direction’s “Story of My Life”. The song rose to critical acclaim and was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015.
This is Adekunle Gold’s third single of 2020 and it’s the best of them all. One thing about the song is that the hook is so good that it won’t matter after you’ve listened a couple of times. This Afropop tune was produced by TMXO.
